“Amanda’s support for our school has been invaluable. She has supported children with a wide range of needs and has shown flexibility and creativity in finding ways to engage them and establish relationships. We have seen real impact from the sessions in children’s confidence in speaking up and knowing that their voice is important. Amanda has given children a safe space to explore their feelings and communicate them in a positive and empowering way.”

Counselling and Play-based Therapy for Primary Schools

Within Hampshire primary schools, I provide children with a safe, supportive space to explore their emotions, improve confidence, happiness and mental health. Weekly counselling sessions can also help reduce behaviour challenges and enhance concentration in the classroom.

I offer a range of flexible options to support the wellbeing of your pupils:

Parent Funded Sessions. Parents can privately fund sessions during the school day. I rent a quiet, confidential room at your school and handle everything else.

School Funded Contracts. Schools can commission my services for a specific number of children on a weekly basis.

Shared Approach. Some schools choose a hybrid model where the school funds some of the counselling sessions and parents contribute too.

I am happy to help you find a solution that works for your setting and is manageable for your school budget.
